Day 4 : Made to last forever

Do you know that you were created to last forever? There’s something I saw today as I was reading that burst my head.
“One day your heart will stop beating. That will be the end of your body and your time on earth, but it will not be the end of you. Your earthly body is just a temporary residence for your spirit. The Bible calls your earthly body a “tent,” but refers to your future body as a “house.” The Bible says, “When this tent we live in—our body here on earth—is torn down, God will have a house in heaven for us to live in, a home he himself has made, which will last forever.”
If you don’t think that you have somewhere to go after death, then is when you don’t understand the true meaning of your life. The thing is everything purpose can only be found in God.
Remember you were made to last forever.
Point to Ponder: There is more to life than just here and now.
Verse to Remember:“This world is fading away, along with everything it craves. But if you do the will of God, you will live forever.”  1John 2:17 (NLT) Question to Consider: Since I was made to last forever, what is the one thing I should stop doing and the one thing I should start doing today?
One thing I should stop doing is belittling myself.
One thing I should do is start adding value to myself. Making sure that my spiritman is well-fed.

P. S this hasn’t been proofread. Any mistakes? I’m sorry. 😘😘

Day 3: What drives your life?

What drives your life? Question of the day. The thing is before I came to Christ, or before I knew and accepted who I was in Christ, what was driving me was anger, resentment. To show people that I made or can do it without them. Their help wasn’t needed for me to succeed.
But today I had a rethink on what/who drives my life?
Now what drives my life should be my purpose which can only be found in God. Therefore my driving force should be my relationship with God.
Point to Ponder: Living on purpose is the path to peace.
Verse to Remember:“You, Lord, give perfect peace to those who keep their purpose firm and put their trust in you.”Isaiah 26:3 (TEV)
Question to Consider: What would my family and friends say is the driving force of my life? What do I want it to be?
Lol. When I saw this question I literally laughed. I don’t know what my family will think is my driving force. Is that a good or bad thing that I don’t know what my family thinks of me?
Oh well!

This book is making me think deeply.
I wantu put a picture of something…

Dunno how this correlates. I’m just putting it out there.

Day 2: You’re not an accident

God’s love is just awesome! The Bible says, “Long before he laid down earth’s foundations, he had us in mind, had settled on us as the focus of his love.” Just think about that! He had you in mind and had made you the focus of His love. His love, His love, His love. Everything revolves around His love. He created you to love you. Wawuu! Just thinking about that is a reminder that I’m not and can never be an accident.
God said even while you were in your mother’s womb, He knew you. He knew you would have some good, bad or bittersweet experiences. And the best part is that He will and has always been with us through it all.

There is a God who made you for a reason, and your life has profound meaning!
Point to Ponder: I am not an accident. Verse to Remember: “I am your Creator. You were in my care even before you were born.”  Isaiah 44:2 (CEV)
Question to Consider: Knowing that God uniquely created me, what areas of my personality, background, and physical appearance am I struggling to accept?
I’m not struggling anymore. Was ashamed maybe. I’m unashamed now. There’s a reason why all these have happened so that I can come out stronger and be able to share my experience with someone going through the same thing or something similar.
Today’s is Friday! And  Rccg’s convention has been going on since the beginning of this week. Cant wait to go for today’s own. ‘The All-Sufficient God’.
The weekend starting.
Have a nice one.

Day 1: It all starts with God

I’m reading the first chapter  and I’m wondering what I’ve gotten myself into. Some deep thinking process about to begin. This is an intense book review set to transform me and you of course.
The title of the chapter today is ‘It all starts with God’.
You were made by God and for God, (digest this), – and until you understand this life won’t make any sense at all.

There’s more to your life.
Your journey on the course to discovering your purpose in life starts with a relationship with Jesus Christ. (Romans 10:9-10).
According to the points to ponder, ‘it’s not about me’. There’s a greater force behind me. He knew me even before I was conceived. So it’s not about me in any way. All that I am and will ever be should be about Him alone.
The Verse to Remember is “Everything got started in him and finds its purpose in him.”  Colossians 1:16b (Msg). The biblical  version to all I’ve been saying since. You can only start finding your purpose in life through God.
The Question to Consider is in spite of all the advertising around me, how can I remind myself that life is really about living for God, not myself?
My personal opinion is that once you have a relationship and fellowship with God( difference between them? Message for another day), it makes things kind of easy. It’s a daily process I won’t lie. There are some times the flesh wants to take over and be like won’t I get my ‘reward’?
But then the Word reminds you that you’re living for God so all the glory must be to Him.
And right now the verse to remember is one I’m gonna have to memorize, it will help on those days you think all is not going fine.

Till Chapter 2 guys.
Lemme prepare for my class.

A new challenge

Yes! I’m doing another challenge. One thing with all these things is that helps me post regularly on here.
This new challenge is reading Rick Warren’s purpose driven life.

Yuno it has 40 chapters and the instruction that comes with the book says you should read a chapter a day. So that is exactly what I’m going to be doing. I’ll be reading a chapter a day and sharing on here my thoughts, views and how it’s affecting my life.
I think posting it here will help me apply it and remember it more.
HS I need your help and strength badly.
In other news, my lectures are stressing me out. I don’t think accounting is my calling tho, I don’t think school is my calling sef.
Lol. I’m sha happy I’m learning new stuffs and that’s the most important thingy.
See you when I digest the first chapter. 😘😘😋

Kisses and hugs

Things I’ll most likely do when I’m pregnant

What a title! I was randomly thinking and I was like what would I do if I were pregnant . So here are a few things I think might happen
This is so def. But what will they be? I know fish and salad will be part. Lool… I don’t know why but I gatta feeling. ;).

Or dishes like this

Or stuff like this
Dunno what my other cravings will be.
2. Hair
I think I might cut my hair, and this is some scary thought. Maybe because my roommate just cut her hair and I’ve been wondering how it will feel like if I do so again.
If I don’t cut my hair, I know braids will be a part of my pregnant hair regimen. If not, #NaturalHairRocks.

Small baby bump with my heels and natural hair. 😋

Me with the small baby bump and the hurrrrr

3. I think I’ll crave malt. Malta Guiness to be precise. Lol. I can’t just imagine my love for malt. As a normal lady now, I’m craving it. Can’t imagine when I’m pregnant. Funny enough it might be irritating to me. I hope not sha.

4. Still thinking on what I might do again. Will edit as I come up with more. 🙈🙈

#GuestPost : Spoken Word

I’m on a roll here! Another post in the same month! 🙌🙌. I’m turning a new leaf.
I’ve been thinking of what to post and it came to me “why don’t you have a guest post?”. I said “Oh good”.
Now the problem was what to post. I remembered the spoken word artist I saw at Awaken Your Passion( empowerment program that held on Saturday at Oriental Hotel), but there’s no way I could reach her or transcribe her piece here.
Anyways, I’m featuring a very good friend of mine, close to the heart, one of the best spoken word artists I’ve seen physically and maybe even better than her sef :roll:
I asked him if he could write a post for me and he immediately sent me this piece.
The title – GLORY

The importance of the existence of something.
The mechanism of the consistency of anything.
The pinnacle of the experience of everything.
The intensity of the furnace of all things.
Galaxies proclaim its insurmountable nature.
Waters showcase its infinitesimal extent.
Mountains erupt to display a pinch of its texture.
Birds sing of its fame all moment.
Creation march to war for its dominion.
Babes cry out loud for its expectation.
Lads run and strive for its illusion.
Aged groan for its admiration.
Sought after by the deepest of all.
Not even beheld by the highest of them.
Unequaled by the wisest in heart.
Revered by the foolish stance.
Heaven can not contain it measure.
Earth swept away by its dimension.
You and I twinkle a lil of its spice,
yet its left for us to despise.
Its touch heals your bones.
Its smell cleans your heart.
Its sight brightens your spirit.
Its taste edifies your soul.
its way refines your own.
Its test outlast your best.
Its humility sinks your pride.
Its sum redeem your debt.

Hope you enjoyed it as much as I did. 😋😋☺
